ST Engineering, URA to develop tech-based urban planning solutions
The tool may be used for land policy, planning, infrastructure, and development control.
ST Engineering and the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) will be developing urban planning solutions based on open-source technology, according to a news release.
The solution may be customised to fit the needs of different cities in terms of macro land use policy, physical planning, infrastructure monitoring, and development control, thereby reducing the cost outlay.
It will include ePlanner a geospatial planning data analytics portal, infra projects monitoring platform Urban Systems Dashboard, and time-scale scenario planning and analysis tool GEMMA.
