It has been engaging authorities in the US and Saudi Arabia.
Singapore Technologies Engineering (ST Engineering) said it is intensifying its Smart City expansion plans in the US, South East Asia, and the Middle East. It has been engaging authorities in the US and Saudi Arabia and is looking at Smart City projects such as those targeted at infrastructural upgrades.
According to an announcement, it is working with both public and private sector partners and customers including industrial manufacturers, urban planners, master developers, road transportation authorities, and security agencies in its global expansion efforts for Smart City.
ST Engineering also launched CitySense, the brand for its integrated Smart City solutions suite aimed at addressing the mega-trend of mass urbanisation and targeting city planners. “To make for efficient urban planning, CitySense addresses issues such as city congestion, lack of physical and cybersecurity, energy inefficiencies and utility wastages,” the company said.
CitySense also covers digital capabilities such as data analytics, artificial intelligence and robotics, and have been adopted by clients in transportation, urban development, security, utilities, aviation and the maritime industry all over the world.
ST Engineering has implemented more than 500 Smart City projects across 70 cities worldwide. Its latest engagement is its memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Keppel Urban Solutions to design and execute Smart City masterplans in Asian cities.
