Chart of the Day: 41% agree that travel is more needed since 2020

It is higher compared to the global average of 35%.

Over 41% of Singaporeans said travel has become more important since 2020, a YouGov global study showed.

This chart also found that the Singaporean average is higher than the global level of 35%.

Comparing data per country, UAE consumers (58%) have had a better appreciation for travel since 2020.

It is the highest out of 18 countries researched to an agreement with the statement “travel has become more important since the pandemic.”

India comes in second, with an almost equal proportion agreeing (57%).

Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
