More than half of SG households have changed their grocery-buying habits
Forty-two per cent said they now have a lower budget for groceries.
Fifty-six per cent (56%) of Singapore households have either increased or lowered their grocery budget amidst the higher cost of living.
Data from a Lazada and Milieu Insight study showed that of those who have changed their grocery buying habits, 42% lowered their budget, whilst 14% increased theirs.
Most Singaporeans slashed their grocery budgets, either by 20% (43%) or 10% (34%).
Meanwhile, most of those who have increased their allocation for groceries topped up their budgets by either 20% (43%) or 30% (27%).
