Mermaid Maritime Public names Joachim Toh Wen Keong as Director

Mr. Toh is also a Member of Audit Committee.

The Board of Mermaid Maritime Public announced the appointment of Joachim Toh Wen Keong as Director. The Nomination Committee, having considered Mr. Toh’s qualifications, experience and expertise in the investment and asset management field, made a recommendation to the Board of Directors that his appointment is suitable for the benefit to the Company and the shareholders. The Board, having considered the matter, endorsed the recommendation of the Nomination Committee and will be appointing Mr. Toh as an Independent Director. Mr. Toh will also serve as a member of the Audit Committee.

At present, Mr Toh, 47, is Deputy Chief Investment Officer of National University of Singapore (Investment Office) Singapore since May 2008. In the past, he was Executive Vice President and Head of Investment Management of Great Eastern Holdings Ltd. (GEH) Singapore August 2005 to May 2008 and Head of Investment Management of Great Eastern Holdings Ltd. (GEH) from April 1999 to August 2005, according to a Mermaid Maritime Public report.
