Mooreast subsidiary, NTOU sign MoU for marine energy research
Under the MoU, both parties will develop floating wind platforms.
Mooreast Holdings’ subsidiary, Mooreast Taiwan Limited, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the National Taiwan Ocean University (NTOU) to research marine energy.
Under the MoU, both parties will develop floating wind platforms and conduct wave dynamic response analysis for two years.
They will also develop new materials, improve structural designs, and explore more efficient and safer platform installation methods tailored to Taiwan’s marine conditions.
In addition, both parties will provide internships and host on-campus seminars to bridge the gap between academic and real-world expertise.
Mooreast said the collaboration is to bring international experience and technology into Taiwan’s floating offshore renewable market.
