China Energy appoints Zhang Lizheng as General Manager

Mr Zhang started his career with the Group since December 2005 as the Internal Compliance Manager.

The Board of China Energy announced the appointment of Mr Zhang Lizheng as Acting General Manager of Linyi Jiuxin Energy Co., Ltd (“Jiuxin”) and Jiutai Energy Technology Co., Ltd (“Jiutai Energy”).

Mr Zhang has been with the Group since December 2005 and has assumed the position since February 2010. The Chief Executive Officer (“CEO”) of the Group has assessed the performance of Mr Zhang Lizheng as the Acting General Manager of Jiuxin and Jiutai Energy for the past two years and has recommended the promotion of Mr Zhang Lizheng as the General Manager of Jiuxin and Jiutai Energy. The Nominating Committee has reviewed the CEO’s recommendation and the Board has approved the promotion of Mr Zhang Lizheng.

Mr Zhang Lizheng has the responsibility of overseeing the overall operation and management of Jiuxin and Jiutai Energy, according to a China Energy report.

Mr Zhang, 39, started his career with the Group in December 2005 as the Internal Compliance Manager. In February 2007, he was appointed as General Manager’s Assistant (Internal Compliance Department). From November 2007 to February 2010, he was the Deputy General Manager of the Group’s Finance Centre. He was appointed to the position of Acting General Manager of Jiuxin and Jiutai Energy in February 2010, where he oversees the overall operation and management.
