Swiber goes under CAD probe

Swiber Holdings announced that it has received a notice from the Commercial Affairs Department (CAD) which states it is under investigation for an offence under the Securities and Futures Act (Chapter 289) pursuant to the provisions of the Criminal Procedure Code (Chapter 68, 2012 Revised Edition).

The CAD has not disclosed any further details on its investigations. Nevertheless, the CAD has requested, for the purpose of its investigations, access to the following information concerning Swiber Holdings, Swiber Offshore Construction Pte Ltd, PAPE Engineering Pte Ltd and Swiber Corporate Pte Ltd from 1 January 2012 to date:

(a) all relevant corporate secretarial documents;
(b) all announcements submitted to the Singapore Exchange, including any draft versions and
comments made by directors or any other relevant personnel;
(c) all relevant accounting records and order books;
(d) all documents pertaining to certain projects; and
(e) all relevant information technology equipment and corporate emails.

Swiber promised to cooperate fully with the CAD in its investigations.
