Singapore, Sarawak partner to develop carbon capture storage
This will cover policy exchanges and potential project implementations.
Singapore and Sarawak Premier will be collaborating to look into the development of carbon capture storage and carbon credits.
On the sidelines of the Singapore International Energy Week, Second Minister for Trade andIndustry Tan See Leng and Sarawak Premier Patinggi Tan Sri Dr Abang Haji Abdul RahmanZohari Bin Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg agreed to create a workgroup.

The joint workgroup will discuss areas for policy exchanges and identify potential project implementations.
“Singapore and Sarawak enjoy longstanding relations. The workgroup reaffirms our commitment to collaborate with like-minded partners in areas of mutual interest such as carbon capture and storage and carbon credits,” Minister Tan said.
“International cooperation is critical to promote regional and global climate action to achieve the Paris Agreement goals.”
