Vard Holdings inked $54.5M deal to design and build two vessels

Singapore listed firm Vard Holdings, which specialises in designing and building ships, secured a $54.5M worth of contract to design and build two additional module carrier vessels for Topaz Energ and Marine.
They are scheduled for delivery in 2Q2018.
Topaz, a subsidiary of Renaissance Services SAOG, a publicly traded company on the Muscat Securities Market, Oman, has previously contracted Bards to deliver a series of 15 identical vessels from Vard's shipyards in Tulcea and Braila in Romania, and Vung Tau in Vietnam.
