Dr Wai Chiong Loke
Dr LOKE Wai Chiong is Deloitte Southeast Asia Health Care Sector Leader, and also leads the Future Health Care Centre of Excellence under the Deloitte Risk Innovation Centre. He brings with him over 2 decades of direct public and private healthcare experience, and consulting and advisory projects spanning the entire healthcare ecosystem and value chain. His suite of experience includes working with global investors, governments, NPOs, hospitals and life sciences companies; creating solutions for business model innovation, organization transformation, test-bedding and deployment of technology, market entry and growth strategy, clinical quality and strategic risk management, mergers and acquisitions.
Dr Loke describes himself as an innovator and clinician leader, industry developer and policymaker, operator and investor. With his diverse background, skills and network, he “connects the dots” constantly across the continuum; designs strategies to "move the big dots" for businesses and populations; and continually seeks the next disruption or model which will transform healthcare.
Dr Xia Zhi Qiang
Dr Xia is currently the Director of Graduate Programs at Nanyang Technopreneurship Center, Nanyang Technological University (NTU), overseeing the Master of Science Technopreneurship and Innovation programs. He joined NTU in 2004 to serve in the China Strategy Group (President’s Office). Dr Xia also serves as President of International Council for Small Business (Singapore).
Dr. Granville D' Souza
Dr. Granville D' Souza DBA, Director, 6 Seconds SEA Pte Ltd, he has extensive training experience in Emotional Intelligence practises as well as conducting coaching and facilitative workshops that deal with team and individual behaviour.
Dr. Jochen Krauss
Jochen is a Partner at Simon-Kucher and heads the company's operations in Singapore. He has more than ten years of experience in consulting national and international clients in various industries. He specializes in developing market entry strategies and pricing strategies, optimizing pricing-processes and designing innovative price- and product-structures. Jochen’s views are highly sought after by the press and he is often invited to speak on TV news segments to share his insights on recent trends and events.
Prior to his consulting work, he was Managing Director of the Singapore-based German Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), a joint venture research and education centre of the Munich University of Technology (TUM), the National University of Singapore (NUS) and Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
Jochen received a doctorate degree in Business Administration from the Munich University of Technology. He studied Business Administration at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universitaet in Munich, the School of Information Management and Systems (SIMS) at UC Berkeley and the Rotterdam School of Economics.
Dr. R Theyvendran
Dr R Theyvendran is the Secretary-General of the Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS), he's also a winner of the Reader’s Digest Trusted Brand Gold award in 2011 and 2012.
Dr. Sabine Schaffer
Dr. Sabine Schaffer is Co-Founder of Pro-invest Group, a leading integrated real estate platform within Australasia covering all aspects of development, asset management as well as day-to-day operations. The Group has in excess of $3 billion AUD across hospitality and commercial assets and is setting new benchmarks in ESG, with all assets within the Pro-invest network have some of the highest environment ratings ( including the very first-carbon neutral hotel according to NABERS ratings). Sabine’s career spans from looking after Private Equity investments at 3i into retail schemes, working on high profile projects with McKinsey & Company focusing on Finance and Public Affairs, to being Director of Investments at a GCC based Private Equity firm. Sabine holds a Master’s degree from Harvard University as well as PhD in Economics from Leopold Franzens University, Innsbruck, Austria.
Dr. Sam Choon-Yin and Renton Yap
Dr. Sam Choon Yin is the Dean at PSB Academy. He is also the head of School of Business and Management. Dr. Sam graduated with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Hons) from National University of Singapore (NUS), Masters of Business in Finance from University of Technology, Sydney, Masters of Social Sciences from NUS and PhD in International Business and Management from University of South Australia (UNISA).
He has taught subjects in Economics, Finance and Statistics. His current research interests are in the field of international political economy and higher education policy. Aside from his responsibilities in teaching and research. Dr. Sam contributes as a member of the Examination Board and Academic Board at PSB Academy.
Renton Yap is an entreprenuer, disruptor, and a foodie. Renton is the co-founder of Hcook, a mobile application platform that connects home chefs to foodies online. Prior to co-founding Hcook, Renton was a banker for 13 years. Renton started baking and selling from home in 2015.
A series of challenges trying to run a successful home based food business led to him co-found Hcook. Hcook is an attempt to unite all home based food business and unleash the latent potential of all the shared kitchens of our neighbours.
Dr. Victor Nian
Dr. Victor Nian is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of the Centre for Strategic Energy and Resources (CSER), an independent think-and-do tank established in the spirit of “knowledge and innovation without borders" in Asia. Dr Nian advises public and private organisations on energy strategy, industrial and climate policy, technology management, digital transformation, and other energy transition and sustainable development related issues. He is recognised as one of the go-to-persons on energy modelling and scenario planning, nuclear energy, hydrogen economy, and net-zero strategy in Asia.
Under his leadership, CSER is on a mission to build enabling ecosystems to accelerate energy transition pathways in Asia. Dr. Nian is a Founding Member, elected Council Member, and elected Honorary General Secretary of the International Society for Energy Transition Studies, a professional society with more than 500 members from over 40 countries.
Dr. Nian was previously a Visiting Fellow of the Hughes Hall, University of Cambridge, an Adjunct Full Professor of Tianjin University of Commerce, an interdisciplinary subject matter expert of an energy policy research institute, and an entrepreneur in carbon and sustainability consulting business. He holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a BEng (Hons) in Electrical Engineering with a Minor in Management of Technology, all from the National University of Singapore
