Enterprise Florida Hosts Virtual Select Florida Expo for International Investors

CORAL GABLES, U.S.A. (November 24, 2021) – Enterprise Florida, Inc. (EFI) invites Asian companies to join its 2021 Select Florida Expo, a free virtual event focused on attracting foreign direct investment (FDI), which will take place from 30th November to 2nd December 2021. 

Building on the strength of the Select USA FDI-promotion brand, the three-day event will highlight Florida’s attractiveness as a leading global investment destination for foreign companies. A series of live webinars will cover crucial topics such as Florida’s welcoming business climate, innovation economy, and its diverse economic regions and sectors. 

Florida’s economic development partnerships will have the opportunity to showcase their communities to potential investors worldwide and to directly connect with them in real-time via the Select Florida platform. There will also be testimonials from foreign companies who have invested in Florida, and special attention will be paid, not just on how to invest in the state, but also to the reasons why to invest in Florida..

Enterprise Florida is targeting up to 100 exhibitors and 3,000 attendees. Visitors will include corporate executives, multipliers, and site selectors from all over the world. Partners include EFI’s primary memorandum of understanding economic development partners at the local/regional level, as well as universities and research institutes, technology and business associations, and statewide partners like Space Florida. 

Enterprise Florida is promoting the event via its network of representative offices in other countries,  as well as through partnerships with the U.S. Department of Commerce, American Chambers of  Commerce abroad, and other longtime partner organisations. 

Whilst live webinars during the virtual expo will take place from 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. (Singapore Time) on the three days, virtual booths will remain open throughout the entire event. Enterprise Florida representatives across Asia will also be available on the platform throughout the business day to interact with prospective investors and address their questions.
