REC Group bags Made in Singapore Award for Energy & Power

Their half-cut solar panel product delivers more power at lower cost.

Singapore Business Review lauded the most exceptional products in that prove to be industry game changers in the recently concluded Made in Singapore and Designed in Singapore Awards. 

On its inaugural year, the Made in Singapore and Designed in Singapore awards programme recognises trailblazing products manufactured in the city-state and products conceptualised in Singapore.

The REC TwinPeak 2 Series of REC Group won the Made in Singapore Awards under the energy & power category. This innovative half-cut cell solar panel was engineered to capture greater amount of light and deliver more power at lower costs compared to standard multicrystalline products. With world-record power outputs, the REC TwinPeak 2 panels are even competitive with monocrystalline products. Its distinctive TwinPeak design enables modules to generate electricity even when the panel is partially shaded. Shankar Sridhara, Vice President, Technology at REC Group received the award at the gala dinner held on December 6 at Conrad Centennial Singapore.
