Savills (Singapore) Pte Ltd secures double win at the SBR Management Excellence Awards for outstanding property management and project management teams

Remarkable achievements of property management and project management teams were propelled under the leadership of Winnie Wong and Vincent Lau respectively.

Savills (Singapore) Pte Ltd has bagged the Team of the Year Award in both Real Estate Property Management and Project Management Consultancy categories at the SBR Management Excellence Awards for their Property Management Team and Project Management Team, both led by proactive individuals. The award underscores its unwavering commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability. 

Led by the dynamic Winnie Wong, Managing Director of Singapore Property Management Services, the Savills Property Management Team has set a new standard for property management through innovation and digitisation. With an impressive portfolio encompassing over 200 developments and buildings across various sectors – from homes to shopping centres, offices, factories, and more – they have firmly established themselves as leaders in the field. 

What sets them apart is their dedication to innovation. In a partnership with Gleneagles Hospital & Medical Centre, they transitioned from manual work to a cutting-edge digital system. This change allowed for instant access to vital building information, making data analysis and decision-making a breeze. It all happened because of their particular property management software, Property Cube. They have even gone the extra mile to adopt eco-friendly practices by replacing traditional lights with energy-saving ones and embracing a greener workplace culture. 

Additionally, they made life easier for residents of a 1,040-unit residential complex, Interlace by teaming up with the iCondo Platform for accessible booking facilities, making online payments, giving feedback, and getting updates. Currently, about 80% Interlace residents are using the iCondo platform. The latter currently is being utilised in about 70% of all the SPM’s residential developments. 

They harnessed technology for business from automating the process of getting bids from suppliers to installing energy-saving lights with sensors at car parks and staircases. They hired 70 new employees and managed over 50,000 strata lots. It solidified their position as Singapore's foremost property management outfit. They had left an indelible mark in the industry, promoting sustainability through digitisation and paperless practices.

On the other hand, Vincent Lau supervised the Savills Project Management (PJM) Team that won Team of the Year - Real Estate - Project Management Consultancy, which had soared to heights in just five years. They had evolved from overseeing projects valued at SGD 5m to handling a portfolio worth an impressive SGD 550 million. Their expertise extends across diverse disciplines. 

They proved they could manage industry projects like the ST Engineering Aviation Project and contribute to groundbreaking initiatives such as the Volocopter & Skyport, Singapore's first air taxi. They had earned the trust of repeat clients, working on million-dollar projects for Bio-Rad Laboratories, AEW, LOGOS, and more.

The PJM Team's success story extends to employer representation, project management, cost management, construction management, due diligence, and employer representation. Their diverse project portfolio spans industries from residential to retail, healthcare, financial institutions, and even government projects, demonstrating their versatile approach.

Additionally, they had been recognised as the Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy Team for designing and building a state-of-the-art airframe maintenance facility for ST Engineering and serving as the Employer's Representative for a monumental redevelopment project for POKKA Logistics Singapore Pte. Ltd.
