Nicomatic wins SBR International Business Award for Electronic Manufacturing

The company was recognised for its design and innovation to support company expansion.

Singapore-focused

Managing Director, Mr Thomas Tang specialises in establishing commercial accounts & Engineering Director, Mr Hakan Anthony Tezgurler has 28 years of experience with the Nicomatic Group with cross-functional experiences.

Nicomatic aims to make Singapore an important player in the group by providing support in the design of new solutions but also by producing components with high technical values.

“We will continue the extension of our AMM range whose Center of Excellence is located in Singapore (designed and produced in Singapore) by integrating new options such as the mix of Low Frequency contacts (up to 3A) with High Power contacts (10A). But also by providing electromagnetic shielding solutions for even more severe use,” said Thomas.

The AMM 1mm pitch connectors are tested as per MIL-DTL-83513G standard with IEC test procedures. The AMM is a perfect solution for customers with space constraints on increasingly small systems. Meanwhile, the highly reliable AMM series offers five standard layouts that are stocked and available in just a few days: 06, 10, 20, 34, or 50 contacts distributed over 2 rows to which we will add the High Power possibility of mixing.

Thanks to its high-performance glass fiber composite housing and its stainless-steel fixing hardware, the AMM Series meets demanding requirements such as high temperatures cycling severity ( 5 cycles -65 °C / +200 °C ), Sinusoidal vibration severity ( 15 G / 10 Hz - 2000 Hz ) and shock severity ( Peak acceleration 160 G / Sawtooth waveform 100 G ). The gold-plated contacts enhance the overall durability and performance of the AMM series ( 1000 cycles of mating / unmating ).

Lightweight and secure, with ingenious features like the integrated guidance pin for stacking purposes, the AMM range keeps interconnect solutions simple and efficient.

“Our projects are in adequacy with the production means we are setting up. This is why we seek to bring our value to the Group by focusing on the heart of the connector, i.e. the contact,” Hakan Anthony highlights.

In the field of high frequency :

• By developing new solutions allowing the integration of high frequency signals at 6Ghz with a complete characterisation allowing a perfect control of the signal in such a complex universe.
• By developing a new range of connectors on 18Ghz frequencies.
• Launching a new range of connectors with a common ground to reduce the risk of interference observed in the multi grounding for applications such as Telecom, Antenna, Video

In the field of High Power :

• To develop a small size connector to meet the general miniaturisation needs of customers and also of the UAV market and to propose up to 60A per contact
