Endress+Hauser wins SBR International Business Awards 2024 for Manufacturing Technology

Its Memosens 2.0 significantly improved the process of liquid analysis, building upon the company’s previous technology.

Process and laboratory instrumentation and automation supplier Endress+Hauser took home the Manufacturing Technology category win at the recently held SBR International Business Awards 2024 for its Memosens 2.0 that has significantly improved the process of liquid analysis.

Memosens 2.0 offers improved data integrity with its non-contact, inductive, digital data transmission that eliminates problems associated with moisture or corrosion. It also provides end-to-end data encryption for secure data transfer.

The sensors in the solution can provide information about their own condition and remaining lifespan, enabling predictive maintenance and reducing unexpected downtime. They can be pre-calibrated under lab conditions and then simply plugged into the process for immediate use. This reduces the risk of errors during calibration and increases process safety. They are also more robust and reliable, with improved resistance to corrosion and moisture.

The solution is designed to be user-friendly, with easy installation, operation, and maintenance. It can be integrated into various process control systems, allowing for seamless data transfer and analysis.

Memosens 2.0 builds upon the features of its predecessor Memosens technology, a digital interface that transforms analog signals into digital data, ensuring high precision and accuracy in measurements. With the former, measuring points become completely future-proof and ready for the Industrial Internet of Things.

“Endress+Hauser's Memosens technologies offer significant technical and commercial benefits. Their high accuracy, reliability, and predictive maintenance capabilities can enhance process efficiency and reduce operational costs, making them valuable investments for businesses in various industries,” the company said.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
