ST Engineering partners with Rheinmetall to develop defense products

They will develop solutions related to protection systems and combat vehicles.

The Land Systems arm of ST Engineering signed a memorandum of understanding with European contractor Rheinmetall to develop and sell defense products and systems, according to a press release.

ST Engineering and Rheinmetall plan to explore areas of cooperation involving the design, development, production, global marketing, sales and support of defence systems and solutions related to protection systems and combat vehicles.

Under combat vehicle, the partnership plans to explore opportunities in the armoured tracked vehicle market, including marketing, development, manufacturing, assembly, and Integrated Logistic Support activities such as training and aftersales.
