OrangeTee’s new platforms streamline property data for agents and consumers

The tools were introduced by its new Chief Researcher and Strategist.

Since her appointment as Chief Researcher and Strategist at OrangeTee, Christine Sun has introduced a new Research Hub and an upgraded Market Analytics Suite (MAS), designed to empower both real estate agents and consumers by providing comprehensive, easily accessible property data.

"The brand new research hub serves as a comprehensive repository of research materials and property-related information for both agents and consumers," Sun said.

Previously, information such as reports and infographics were scattered across various platforms like the company website, YouTube, and Instagram. Sun emphasised the challenge this posed, noting it was not easy for agents or consumers to find all this information in one go.

"We have reorganised all our information into one stop platform so that it's easier, more seamless for the consumers to look for this information," Sun explained. Additionally, the information is now arranged thematically, making it simpler for users to find specific data.

Alongside the Research Hub, the Market Analytics Suite has been revamped. "We have created this thing called the Market Analytics Suite that holds about 100 dashboards for our agents to use," Sun said. Launched about two to three years ago, the suite converts complex data into simplified charts.

The Market Analytics Suite has also been made more accessible, with mobile and tablet-friendly dashboards. This development ensures that both agents and consumers can access valuable market data on the go.

Looking ahead, OrangeTee plans to explore new market segments and provide further educational resources. "We want to inform them or even excite them about the latest market trends, developments and even our new initiatives," Sun stated. The company intends to expand its research beyond the residential segment to include industrial, commercial, and shop house markets. Additionally, studies on dormitories, long-term service apartments, and co-living spaces are in the pipeline.

International market research is also on the agenda, with potential studies on buying trends in Japan, a market popular with Singapore investors.

OrangeTee is committed to continuing its market education efforts, particularly for new home buyers and tertiary students. "We want to highlight to new home buyers how to choose a flat, what to look out for," Sun said. The company also plans to conduct talks and conferences for tertiary students, helping them understand market trends and prepare their finances for buying their first homes.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
