SUEZ to supply water management system for Singapore

It will maintain a system for reservoir and catchment operations for four years.

Resource management firm SUEZ has signed two contracts with the Public Utilities Board (PUB), Singapore’s national water agency to supply water management solutions in Singapore and Malaysia for a value sum of $11.9m, announced the company.

In Singapore, SUEZ will expand, and maintain a system for real-time monitoring and optimisation of reservoir and catchment operations for a period of four years. This is aligned with the Smart PUB Roadmap that targets to meet Singapore’s future water needs and water resources management optimisation through digitisation.

In Malaysia, Suez will provide drinking water to 400,000 residents in Terengganu State, Malaysia.

Two drinking water production plants will be provided to meet the increasing consumption demands of the country. The plants are set to be installed by mid-2020 and will produce 64,000 m3/day of drinking water.
