
Hyflux to hold scheme meeting on 22 April
An individual from EY Corporate Advisors will act as the chairperson of the meeting.
The scheme meetings with the parties with whom embattled water firm Hyflux’s subsidiaries have financial obligations will be held in its office at 80 Bendemeer Road on 22 April for considering and voting on an arrangement, the company announced in an SGX filing.
The scheme meeting for the unsecured and subordinated scheme parties will be held at noon, whilst the meeting for the preference shares and perpetual securities (P&P) scheme parties will be held in the evening.
EY Corporate Advisors’ Ee Meng Yen Angela or Glenn Peters will act as the chairperson of the meeting and report the results to the court.

A scheme party may vote in person or appoint one proxy to attend and vote on their behalf. For the noteholders and/or the P&P scheme parties, the party who can attend and vote is the central depository (CDP) account holder.
Proxy forms should be deposited at the Office of the Meeting Agent, Boardroom Corporate & Advisory Services by 19 April, 72 hours before the scheme meeting.
Unsecured parties include Hyflux's bank creditors, noteholders, trade creditors and contingent creditors, whilst the P&P parties refers to the holders of Hyflux's perpetual capital securities and preference shares.
