NE and SE regions are in for a scrub.
The National Environment Agency (NEA) has awarded two contracts worth a total of $300m, the agency announced Tuesday.
The seven-year North-East contract is worth $143 million and was awarded to Chye Thiam Maintenance Pte Ltd. The South-East eight-year contract, worth $158 million, was awarded to Ramky Cleantech Services Pte Ltd.
According to the NEA, “These IPC contracts aim to integrate and manage public area cleaning that was previously under different contracts managed by various government agencies, for greater efficiency and better co-ordination.”
