Everbright Water’s net profit surges 39% YoY to $73.34m in FY15

Thanks to higher construction revenue, finance income.

Flooded by increases in construction revenue, operation services income, and finance income, China Everbright Water’s net profits in FY15 surged 39% YoY to HKD406.24m, or about $73.34m.

According to the company’s media released, overall revenue for the financial year skyrocketed 73% YoY to HKD1.85b. This was thanks to an increase of HKD479.81m in construction revenue, HKD127.40 million in operation services income and HKD157.18 million in finance income.

The climb in revenue of waste water treatment plant construction was thanks to the upgrading and expansion of several build-operate-transfer (BOT) projects completed or under construction in FY15. The jump in operations services income was due mainly to the full year effect of HanKore Group, reflecting HKD295.83m in total operation services and finance income.

Overall, gross profit soared 38% YoY to HKD824.22m.

Looking forward, the group is placing in its crosshairs high-level social responsibility, improved operating efficiency, and enhanced management. The group also expects self-development and acquisitions to fuel its growth in 2016.
