Manhattan Resources names Choo Hsun Yang as executive director and CFO

He was an independent director of the Company since 26 July 2011 and was re-designated as an executive director on 23 May 2013.

The Board of Manhattan Resources announced the appointment of Choo Hsun Yang as executive director and chief financial officer effective 1 July 2013.

Mr Choo, 43, will be responsible for the overall financial activities of the Group.

From 2007 to May 2011, Mr Choo was a relationship manager responsible for Independent Financial Advisors in BNP Paribas Wealth Management Singapore. In 1997, Mr Choo joined the institutional sales desk of Commerzbank Asset Management Asia Ltd (CAM Asia), responsible for North Asia clients. In CAM Asia, Hsun Yang was involved in several strategic initiatives of Commerzbank, which includes representing the Bank as a board member, in its Taiwanese joint-venture mutual fund operations, according to a .

Mr Choo graduated with a Bachelor of Business (Financial Analysis) from Nanyang Technological University in 1994.
