ComfortDelGro CEO to resign

The resignation will take effect on 1 April 2022.

ComfortDelGro revealed, through an announcement released on the Singapore Exchange, that one of the company’s key executives is resigning.

Ang Wei Neng, CEO of the Taxi Business, resigned to pursue another career path, effective April 1, 2022. The Taxi Business is currently operated under Comfort Transportation Pte. Ltd. and CityCab Pte. Ltd.

After his resignation, Jackson Chia will be appointed by the Board of Directors of the company as CEO of the Taxi Business. This is in addition to his current responsibilities as CEO of the Company’s Private Mobility Group and Group Chief Sustainability Officer.

Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
