COE premiums close flat as buyers hold out for quota deluge
Only Cat D premiums inched up.
Most Certificate of Entitlement (COE) premiums registered very marginal declines in June’s first bidding exercise.
Buyers are holding out for expectations of a larger quota come August, which is expected to push prices down.
Category A premiums fell by just $590 to $66,000, while premiums for Category B cars declined by a mere $2 to $75,000.
Category E premiums experienced a sharper drop, down by $2,200 to $75,801.
Premiums for good vehicles slipped by $1,101, while Cat D premiums inched up by a very marginal $8.
