Average COE supply for August to October drops to 9,122

Total COE quota for the said months will be 27,370.

The Land Transportation Authority announced that around 9,122 Certificates of Entitlement (COE) will be released each month from August to October. 

This is below the average COE for the past three months at 10,568, with total COE quota at 31,708. For the period, total COE quota sits at 27,370. COE for small cars total 10,890 for the period, whilst those of category B cars reach 7,710. 

For goods vehicles and buses and motorcycles, COE quota for the whole period is at 2,666 and 2,862, respectively. Open category COE quota is at 3,242. As announced at Budget 2017, Category D (Motorcycles) no longer contributes COEs to Category E (Open Category) with effect from the first COE bidding exercise in May 2017.
