Nera Telecommunications appoints 3 Directors

They were nominated by Asia Systems Ltd, a new substantial shareholder of the company.

The Board of Nera Telecommunications announced the appointment of Ashish Jaiprakash Shastry, Tan Choon Hong, and Tan Lye Huat as as Non-Executive Directors.

Mr Shastry, 37, was at TPG Capital for 13 years and he was the Partner responsible for TPG's business in Southeast Asia when he left in December 2011.

Mr Tan Choon Hong, 38, is a Managing Director at Northstar Advisors. Prior to joining Northstar in September 2011, Choon Hong was a Director (Special Projects) at CS Partners, a multi-family office, responsible for direct investment across Southeast Asia. Prior to CS Partners, Choon Hong worked with the private equity arm of Government of Singapore Investment Corporation Pte Ltd ("GIC"), according to a Nera Telecommunications report.

Mr Tan Lye Huat, 63, is Professional Independent Director, Founder, and Ex-CEO of HIM Governance Private Limited.
