Telco firm hit by highest rate of complaints for broadband services

It garnered the highest complaint rate from August to September 2022.

A well-known telecommunications firm posted the highest complaint rates from August 2022 to September 2022, data from Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) showed.

Starhub had 8.76 and 5.09 complaint rates in August 2022 and September 2022, respectively. The number of complaint rates were per 10,000 subscribers, said IMDA.

This was followed by ViewQwest with 0.70 each in both months and MyRepublic with 0.31 in August and 0.20 in September.

Despite the high rate of complaints, Starhub was able to resolve 94% of complaints in zero to five days in August. The resolve rate increased by one percentage point in September.

Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
