M1 captures 8,000 new fibre customers in Q1
Its total subscriber count now hit 168,000 in this segment.
There remains a healthy growth in M1's fibre customer base, which has seen 8,000 new subscribers in the first quarter of the year.
According to DBS Vickers Securities, the recent growth in the said segment pushed total fibre subscriber count to 168,000.
The increase came from residential customers, as well as from major government contracts secured by the telco.
M1's average revenue per user under the fibre broadband segment stood at $43.4m. In the past year, the company managed to cultivate 32,000 additional fibre customers.
