
Xpress wins innovation award from GE China's operations
The print solutions company received recognition for its strategy which includes anticipating customer needs, tailoring solutions and embedding On-Site Print Stations in premises of VIP clients such as GE China.
Xpress Holdings Ltd has won “The Best Innovation Solutions Supplier of the Year 2009” from the China operations of the U.S. industrial conglomerate General Electric (GE China), an announcement from Xpress said.
Xpress’ Executive Director, Mr. Darlington Tseng, received the award at GE China’s Indirect Sourcing Supplier Day in Shanghai which was attended by over 160 guests, including senior leaders from GE divisions in the Asia Pacific region on 22 July 2010.
Xpress was said to have leveraged on its advanced colour management standard system and Asia-Pacific network with split-print capability at multiple locations to provide GE China’s different divisions with optimized solutions to achieve speed, consistency and quality for print needs such as name cards, envelopes, posters and brochures for over 10,000 staff.
According to the announcement, Xpress’ dedicated On-Site Print Stations within various GE China offices allowed the latter’s managers to sit shoulder-to-shoulder with Xpress specialists and jointly plan, modify, execute, manage and monitor print orders routed to print factories in the Asia Pacific region and major PRC cities in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu and Shenyang.
With this latest award, Xpress is expected to remain as GE China’s preferred partner, and will continue to innovate and help achieve efficiencies while constantly innovating and delivering trusted value-add services and solutions to its VIP clients.

Xpress’ one-stop printing solutions now has 33 Print Stations spread across 19 major cities in the region, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, China, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan and Vietnam.
Xpress had received two other distinguished awards in 2009. The overall winner of the “Singapore Prestige Brand Award 2009, Established Brands”, which recognizes and honours Singapore brands that have become sterling brand names in Singapore and “The International ARC Awards 2009”, where Xpress won a total of nine awards for its excellence in design.
Xpress is also the first company in Singapore (2008) and China (2009) to receive the Process Standard Offset (PSO) Certification, an internationally recognized quality management certification in global standard graphic technology for offset printing.
