Telco Systems unveils mobile backhaul and ethernet business service solution

Telco Systems, a BATM company and developer of CE 2.0 multi-service Carrier Ethernet and MPLS edge and access solutions for mobile backhaul, business Ethernet services and cloud networking, today unveiled the TMetro 8001 next generation 10GE service aggregation solution – a breakthrough in Carrier Ethernet and MPLS service delivery for service providers and mobile operators. 

The product boasts a 200GE capacity, offering double the capacity in one third the size of its closest competitor, making it the most compact, dense and cost effective 10GE service aggregation switch in the Carrier Ethernet market today. 

With the evolution of mobile network technology to LTE and LTE Advanced, as well as the deployment of new cloud and business services, metro networks are now required to handle higher traffic, offer higher bandwidth to customers and support many more services, while retaining quality of experience (QoE).
