Libra Group names Alex Chua Siong Kiat as CFO

He will replace Ms Thia Meng Chng, who resigned to pursue other career opportunities.

The Board of Libra Group announced the appointment of Alex Chua Siong Kiat as chief financial officer.

Mr Chua, 42, will oversee the financial and corporate administration functions of the Group, including finance, accounting and human resource matters, according to a Libra Group report.

He was director, finance & control, Asia Ex-China Region (acting co-managing director and HR director from Nov 2011 to May 2012), Imtech Marine from February 2011 to May 2013, sub-regional controller, Asia, AES Corporation from July 2009 to December 2010 and deputy finance director, North China Region, British Sugar Group from April 2008 to June 2009.
