Jaya Holdings appoints Max Alexander Hafstad Hartvigsen as President

Mr Hartvigsen will be in charge of business development activities, profit and loss for the fleet of owned and chartered vessels and operational excellence of the fleet.

The Board was of the view that the core management team of the Group needed to be strengthened with the appointment of Mr Hartvigsen as President - Offshore, whose functions have to-date been handled concurrrently by the Chief Executive Officer ("CEO"). This addition will enable the CEO to devote more of his time to the strategic planning, business development and operations control of the Group.

Mr Hartvigsen, 38, is responsible for business development activities, profit and loss for the fleet of owned and chartered vessels and operational excellence of the fleet, including technical management, operation requirements and readiness.

Before his appointment, he was Chartering Manager, Nor Offshore Ltd, Singapore from 2008 to 2011. Prior to this, he was Chartering Manager of Shipbroker Amsbach Marine, Singapore from 2007 to 2008 and Newbuilding broker of J. Gran & Co a.s, Bergen Norway from 2005 to 2007.
