Yangzijiang Shipbuilding secures new orders for 22 vessels
Out of the 22 vessels, six are 66,000DWT bulk carriers.
Yangzijiang Shipbuilding achieved its highest-ever total order book value of US$10.27b after it secured 22 new orders for vessels.
Of the 22 vessels, six are 66,000DWT bulk carriers, four are 32,000DWT bulk carriers, and another 12 are 16,000TEU LNG dual-fuel containerships.
The latest order also brings Yangzijiang Shipbuilding’s new orders for vessels to 40, worth approximately US$3.6b; this exceeds the company’s FY2022 target of US$2b.
As of 30 September, the company has delivered 51 vessels and is on track to achieve its FY2022 delivery target of 70 vessels.
