Pirates hijack M.T. Golden Blessing
The Singapore-registered vessel was attacked by pirates on its way to India from Saudi Arabia while passing the Gulf of Aden on Monday.
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) received reports at 1245hrs on 28 June 2010 while the Singapore-registered petroleum/chemical tanker M.T. Golden Blessing, owned by Golden Pacific International Holdings (S) Pte Ltd, was passing through the Gulf of Aden.
A report from the MPA said all 19 Chinese nationals crew on board are safe.
