Mountain of evidence reveals a pick-up in Keppel's semi-sub orders

12 contractors expected to prepare orders.

According to Nomura, they had highlighted Semi-subs as one of key areas of potential order growth near term. 

Here, evidence of the order pick-up comes from Upstream which expects 12 established operators/ contractors preparing orders for new Ultra Deep Water (UDW) semi-subs.

Currently, only 65 of the existing 220 semi-subs are UDW. All 22 semi-subs under construction currently are UDW with only 5 rigs without contracts.

With Keppel having received the first order last week from SOCAR, we believe it is in strong position to get further orders from SOCAR
