Japan's big three shipping lines to enter Singapore
They will incorporate their new JV in the city-state.
Japan's shipping line giants are making a move to incorporate their new joint venture in Singapore.
According to a report from Seatrade Maritime News, the three carriers, Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines and Nippon Yusen Kabushiki Kaisha announced that their JV will operate under the name Ocean Network Express.
Singapore will also be the regional headquarters of the operating company, in addition to offices in Hong Kong, London in the UK, Richmond in the US and Sao Paulo in Brazil.
