NH Ceramics names Robert Gunther Meyer as Director

Mr Meyer was Managing Director in Halcyon Investment Corporation since 2004.

The Board of NH Ceramics announced the appointment of Robert Gunther Meyer as Director. Mr Robert Meyer is the Chief Executive Officer of Halcyon Investment Corporation Pte Ltd ("HIC"), a controlling shareholder of the Company, and thereby the appointed representative of HIC on the Board of Directors of the Company. The Nominating Committee has reviewed and recommended the appointment of Mr Robert Meyer as a Non-Executive Director of the Company. The Board of Directors has accepted the recommendation of the Nominating Committee and approved Mr Robert Meyer's appointment.

Between 1999 and 2004, Mr Robert Meyer, 38, was a director in Kingfisher Automotive Pte Ltd and its affiliated companies and was in charge of business development. His responsibilities centred on finding new agencies for the company, as well as expanding its distribution network in Asia, according to an NH Ceramics report.

Mr Robert Meyer left Kingfisher Automotive Pte Ltd in December 2004 and started working full time as Managing Director in Halcyon Investment Corporation Pte Ltd and its group of companies ("Halcyon Group"). He has contributed significantly to the Halcyon Group's development and charted the corporate direction of Halcyon Group together with his co-founders and management team.
