Courts Asia appoints Tan Huat Ben as Singapore chief

Courts Asia announced the appointment of Tan Huat Ben as designate country CEO, Singapore, in January before assuming the country CEO role in April.

From April 2017, Stan Kim, current country CEO of Courts Singapore and Group chief information officer, will be re-designated as Group chief innovation officer, and will focus on accelerating the development of the Group’s e-commerce capabilities regionally whilst continuing to oversee functional responsibilities in information technology.

Tan brings with him decades of retail and consumer technology expertise in both local and regional capacities. Most recently CEO of Andios, a subsidiary of Challenger Technologies Limited, Tan also served as Challenger Technologies’ COO. Prior to that, he held various key leadership positions in Microsoft, including general manager of retail sales and marketing in Microsoft (APAC), senior regional director of entertainment and devices division in Microsoft (Southeast Asia and Korea) and business group lead of Microsoft (Singapore).
