This is the biggest loser in domestic wholesale trade

It's a 15.8% crash.

According to SingStat, after seasonal adjustment, the telecommunications and computers sector reported a decline of 15.8% in its domestic sales over the second quarter.

Lower domestic sales were also registered in the general wholesale trade (-9.8%), petroleum and petroleum products (-6.7%), electronic components (-2.3%), timber, paints and construction materials (-1.9%), ship chandlers and bunkering (-1.8%) and household equipment and furniture (-1.6%) sectors.

In contrast, the chemicals and chemical products sector reported an increase of 5.4% in domestic sales over previous quarter. After adjusting for price changes, the growth was smaller at 1.7%. The domestic sales of industrial and construction machinery, transport equpment and food, beverage and tobacco sectors also grew by 4.7%, 2.5% and 0.9% respectively.

Sectors that reported yoy declines in domestic sales included petroleum and petroleum products (-9.4%), telecommunications and computers (-7.3%), general wholesale trade (-6.2%), electronic components (-3%), industrial and construction machinery (-1.3%) and timber, paints and construction materials (-0.5%).

In contrast, the household equipment and furniture sector registered a double-digit yoy increase of 20.4% in domestic sales. Other sectors that also experienced growth in domestic sales compared to the dame period a year ago were food, beverages and tobacco (6.8%) chemicals and chemical products (3.6%), transport equipemnt (2.2%) and ship chandlers and bunkering (0.6%).
