A sneak peek at Singapore Great Sale's 20th anniversary contests

Includes first-ever S$20,000 Biggest Spender reward.

In a media invitation for the 30 May Singapore Great Sale press conference, official organizer Singapore Retailers Association gave a taste of the contests, prizes and gimmicks that will greet shoppers during the annual SIngaopre Great Sale.

The Singapore Great Sale, which will be held from 31 May to 28 July 2013, will include the first-ever S$20,000 Biggest Spender Reward. Organizers will also offer exclusive MasterCard rewards, curated shopping trails, tourists privileges, and prizes worth over $250,000 in the SPH Shop & Win Draw.

To spice up the event, which is celebrating its 20th Anniversary, organizers have also "refreshed" the Great Singapore Sale logo and are planning to roll out and all-new Snap & Win Contest where photo buffs can win shopping vouchers through a contest to be held at Orchard Road.

Oragnizers also plan to commemorate the anniversary by giving S$20,000 to its supported charity – The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund, which it said will "make a difference in the lives of over 100 under-privileged children and give them the opportunity to experience the joy of shopping through the following events: The Great Singapore Sale 2013 Home Makeover and The Great Singapore Sale 2013 Shop-For-A-Wish Day."

More details about The Great Singapore Sale 2013 will be unveiled at the official press conference set for 30 May 2013 at the Big O Café at Ochard Road.
