Courts Asia unveils new-look flagship Megastore at Tampines

"Groundbreaking" features set to wow shoppers.

In a release, Courts Asia said that its new-look flagship Megastore at Tampines which was revealed over the weekend will "feature a raft of firsts in Singapore, from state-of-the-art retail offerings to customer service initiatives."

The Megastore will introduce Courts Connect, Singapore’s first in-store mobile retail concept to offer mobile, broadband and TV services from the three major telecommunications providers – SingTel, M1 and StarHub – which the company claims will give customers the opportunity to get the greatest deals all under one roof.

Customers will also be able to use newly installed Digital Kiosks throughout the Megastore to look up the latest Courts discounts, product information or just find their way around the 136,000 sq ft Megastore. Customers using a smartphone can scan QR Codes on all products, enabling quick reference, mobile payments and pick-up or delivery arrangements to be made on the spot. 

The Courts Megastore will also have Singapore's first Augmented Reality 3D Sound Box, which lets audiophiles see exactly how the latest pair of headphones suits them, with an interactive screen that superimposes their choice of headset in all colours, shapes and sizes, onto their own real-time image, which can then be shared with friends via Facebook.

Other innovations will include a new WizKids play area, a range of new Home Furnishing Solutions.

In terms of service initiatives, customers can avail of the Courts Solution Bar for new IT devices, where Courts staff will assist with data transfer and software installation as well as warranty selection for each devices. The Megastore also now has a Deal Alley where shoppers can head to for deals hot off the docks at bargain prcies.
