J’den by CapitaLand Development sells 88% of its units in weekend launch

It sold units at an average price of $2,451 per square foot.

CapitaLand Development (CLD) sold 323 units or 88% of the total 383 units of J’den during its launch day, making it the best-selling new launch year-to-date by the percentage of units sold.

CLD sold units at an average price of $2,451 per square foot. One- and two-bedroom were the most popular unit types. All 148 units of the one-bedroom, one-bedroom plus study and two-bedroom types have sold out.

There is also strong take-up for the larger three- and four-bedroom units by owner-occupiers.

More than 99% of buyers during the launch were Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents, whilst close to 60% were aged 40 and below.

About 62% of the homebuyers currently reside in the western region of Singapore.

Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
