HDB rents rise 1.0% MoM in December
By room type, 3 Room recorded the highest rent decrease.
HDB rents rose by 1.0% MoM and 10.1% YoY in December, according to data from 99.co and SRX.
Rents climbed in non-mature estates (+1.0% MoM) and mature estates (+1.2% MoM).
All room types recorded MoM rent increases in December, led by 3 Room with a 2.1% increase, followed by 5 Room (+1.0%), Executive (+0.9%), and 4 Room (0.1%).
Volumes, likewise, increased in December, jumping 7.4% MoM and 12.8% YoY to 2,891 HDB flats.
The latest record, however, was 0.1% lower than the five-year average volume for December.
Of the total volume, 34.1% was from 3 Room, 36.2% from 4 Room, 24.0% from 5 Room and 5.7% from Executive.
