Grand Dunman sells 520 units in weekend launch
The country’s only mega launch in 2023 attracted 10,000 people in its first weekend preview.
Grand Dunman sold 520 units on its weekend launch, or about 53% of its total offerings, making it Singapore’s best-selling project on launch day in over two years.
With 1,008 units offered, Grand Dunman is the largest residential launch in 2023 and also the first mega development with over 1,000 units to hit the market since Normanton Park in January 2021.
Being the one and only mega launch in 2023, Grand Dunman generated a lot of buzz and attracted about 10,000 people on the first weekend of preview, said Lee Sze Teck
senior director, research at Huttons Asia.
“There is a good mix of investors and owner occupiers in Grand Dunman. Some investors went for the dual key units while owner occupiers bought the larger units with a study for flexibility in the future,” Lee said.
The project’s desirable location contributed to its strong sales, according to Lee. Grand Dunman’s proximity to the Dakota MRT station and the central business district likely attracted buyers from different parts of the island.
Buyers viewed its pricing as “acceptable” thanks to its city fringe location, noted Ismail Gafoor, CEO of PropNex, who shared that over 225 of the units sold were facilitated by PropNex.
