Chart of the Day: Check out the robust OCR home sales in September

It accounted 74.2% of the total home sales.

The residential property sector ended the month of September at an unexpected higher note, with private home sales inching up to 509 units sold even with the dearth of new launches in the city-state.

Outside Central Region accounted for the bulk of private home sales, with 297 units sold. This is 74.2% of the total home sales recorded for the said month.

Meanwhile, 144 units in the Rest of Central Region were sold in the month, which translates into 19.9% of the overall home sales. On the other hand, only 68 units were sold in the Core Central Region, accounting to 5.9% of the total.

According to PropNex, OCR has seen the most number of sales since June this year. In July, 76% of the around 1,100 units sold were from OCR, compared to the 19% of the Rest of Central Region and 5% of the Core Central Region.
