August sees a 0.5% rise in HDB resale prices, led by Executive flats
Resale price for Executive flats rose 1% MoM.
HDB resale prices rose in August 2024 by 0.5% MoM and 7.5% YoY, data from 99.co and SRX showed.
Based on the report, resale prices increased by 1.2% MoM for non-mature estates but decreased by 0.2% MoM for mature estates.
Prices increased across all room types, led by Executive, whose prices rose 1% MoM.
3-room, 4-room, and 5-room prices increased by 0.8% MoM, 0.2% MoM, and 0.8% MoM, respectively.
Year-on-year, prices for all room types and estates increased.
Across room types, 3-Room led with an 8% YoY increase in prices, followed by 4-Room (7.5% YoY), 5-Room (6.8% YoY), and Executive (5.7%. YoY).
Meanwhile, mature and non-mature estates saw YoY increases of 6.3% and 8.2%, respectively.
