Buangkok/Sengkang residential site released for tender

A residential site located at Buangkok Drive/Sengkang East Drive, in the east of Sengkang New Town, is available for tender.

The Housing and Development Board is releasing it under the Confirmed List for the first half of 2011 as part of the Government Land Sales Programme.

The 19,500 square metre land parcel has been slated for condominium development. It has a maximum gross floor area of about 58,600 square metres and can generate some 550 housing units. The site has a lease term of 99 years.

The tender deadline is 12pm on 2 June.

Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
