Law firm KWM appoints new Singapore partner

Amanda Lees has nearly 10 years of experience under her belt.

Hong Kong-based law firm King & Wood Mallesons (KWM) has appointed new leading cross-border Dispute Resolution partner Amanda Lees to its Singapore office, as part of its continuous expansion in Southeast Asia.

Lees has about a decade of valuable experience working within the region, with Simmons & Simmons JWS as well as Ashurst. An expert in international arbitration, Lees specialises in commercial and investment treaty arbitration as well as other complex cross-border litigation.

Currently, she is a director of the Singapore branch of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

As the latest partner to join KWM Southeast Asia practice, Lees followed John Shum, Jake Robson, and Nick Davies, who were all appointed in the last 18 months.

“Bringing with her extensive expertise in international arbitration and cross-border disputes, Amanda’s appointment reflects the firm’s focus on providing a truly global offering and helping clients navigate complex issues across a multitude of jurisdictions,” commented KWM Global chairman Wang Junfeng.
