Colliers International appoints Wilson Ang Asia Industrial Services Consultant

Industrial veteran eyed to further strengthen the company's foothold in the Asian industrial market.

International property consultant, Colliers International, is pleased to announce the appointment of Singapore-based Mr Wilson Ang as a Consultant for industrial property investment in Asia. Mr Ang, who will be part of the Asia Industrial Services team, has officially joined the firm on 1 June.

According to a Colliers International report, Mr Ang brings with him close to 20 years of real estate experience in the industrial market. In his new role, he will focus on the industrial markets in Asia - with immediate focus on Greater China and India - advising building owners, private investors as well as investment funds and institutions on their real estate portfolio and assisting them with their real estate requirements across Asia.

"Wilson's industry experience as an industrial broker - advising property owners and listed reits, coupled with his experience at Cambridge Industrial Trust Management Ltd - the manager of Cambridge Industrial Trust, his service would be well-sought after in Greater China and India as the reit industry in these countries is still in its infancy," added Mr Yeo.

Prior to joining Colliers International, Mr Ang co-founded Cambridge Industrial Trust Management Ltd (CITM) in 2005 and assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer, CITM for two years. At CITM, he was responsible for putting together a portfolio of industrial properties for the listing of Cambridge Industrial Trust, bringing it through the entire IPO process, as well as managing the reit post IPO. Mr Ang had also spent 13 years at Colliers International, heading the industrial sales and leasing division. He had worked with numerous industrial property owners and listed reits, and was responsible for more than S$1 billion worth of industrial investment sales.

Mr Ang holds a Bachelor of Science degree and majored in Estate Management from the National University of Singapore.
